Megahout & Plaat is the largest producer of KOMO finger-jointed timber for load-bearing structures in the Netherlands, with strength graded C24. Finger-jointed timber is mainly used by Megahout & Plaat clients in the roofing industry, so stable dimensions and correct crosscut processing are a must in order to achieve rapid production and a good end-product. From our own production in Drachten, we produce 16,000 m3 of finger-jointed timber annually, varying between 25×100 mm and 100×300 mm with a maximum length of 1300 cm. Megahout & Plaat has a basic stock of finger-jointed timber of around 1,000 m3 in diverse dimensions and lengths, in order to meet the client’s immediate demand for finger-jointed timber.
